Custom Home Builder FAQs
How long does a custom build take?
Most of our custom homes take about 9 to 12 months to build once we break ground. That timeline can change depending on how big or detailed your home is. Before we start building, we spend time planning everything out with you so your ideas are clear. We also work hard to stay on schedule, with ongoing communication and time for required inspections along the way.
Do you offer land purchasing assistance?
Yes, we can help with that! Finding the right piece of land to build a home is an important first step, and we’re here to guide you. We look at things like zoning, slopes, access to utilities, and the area around the property to make sure it works for your dream home. We can also work with real estate agents and land surveyors to help you choose a lot that fits your needs.
Can I bring my own floor plan?
Absolutely! If you already have a floor plan, we’d love to see it. Whether it’s from an architect or something you found online, we’ll review it and make sure it fits building codes and your budget. If any changes are needed throughout the home building process, we’ll help adjust the layout so it works better while still keeping your original vision.
What level of customization is possible with your homes?
Pretty much everything can be customized! From the layout and style to the finishes and features, your home will be designed and constructed around what you want. We offer custom cabinets, smart home features, multi-story layouts, and so much more. Our goal is to build a home that’s just right for how you live.
How soon can you start building?
We can usually start building a few weeks after your design is approved and permits are ready. Things like finalizing your plan and getting the site prepped take a little time, but the sooner decisions are made, the faster we can get going.
